First we propose to visit the wet marsh in a canoe. This microclimate enjoys more than 2700 hours of sunshine per year.
In this magic universe covering over 17000 ha shaped by man since the 12 th century you will navigate on mumerous small canals bordered by century-old trees, forming a huge arch over your head. At all times you will discover and enjoy precious moments amidst a rich fauna (birds, fisches, frogs...) and an exceptionnal flora, both including protected species.
Following these canals, you will pass thru small villages, typical of the center part o the regional park.
This unic site in Europe is called Green Venice for the beauty of its landscape half aquatic, half on land, with no mosquito. | - There are no specific difficulties, the canals are shallow, the water flow very slow and canoeing in these conditions is easy.
- The canoes, canadian-style are steady and easy to handle.
- Each day includes 3 to 5 hours paddling and at least one village stop over where you will be able to buy food and beverages.
